"I am a newbie. I setup my HT/1510. I am a little confused. I am using for music mostly, so I hooked up two cables from Sub Out 1 on my AVR to the .1/LFE input on the REL and Sub Out 2 from my AVR to the other input on the REL. Is this correct, or should I get a 1-male to 2-male cable?"

Instead, he recommends connecting the left and right low-level outputs from your AVR directly to the HT/1510's stereo low-level inputs, allowing the subwoofer's built-in crossover to integrate naturally with your main speakers.

Hey Rob, great question.
Actually, you might try doing something else entirely. You don't need to feed it a subwoofer out, per se, if you're trying to use it for music, right? The subwoofer outputs on an AVR have to do with the LFE, not a conventional subwoofer.
What I would strongly suggest you do is look into coming off the Left and the Right Low-Level outputs on the back of your AVR and feeding those into the HT/1510. Going to the two at the bottom. Those inputs are stacked like this.Go into the two at the bottom.It doesn't really matter quite honestly. That way you'll get both Left and Right channels in and the crossover can do its job for you.
