Miracle In Miniature

100% REL, Just Smaller

Tzero is, in many ways, the most difficult design we have ever executed because never before have we delivered so much for so little. 5 coats of lacquer, as in all Serie T/i, next generation Class D amplifiers, High level inputs, .1 separate input stages, rugged 6.5” main driver with exceptional output and low bass extension for its size means Tzero gives up little to much larger units from the competitors. Tzero is a miracle in miniature.

design

So Much, In So Little

Compact Power & Finesse

Tzero is built using a super stiff cabinet construction that drives the resonant frequency higher so it is more easily damped by our instrument-grade bracing. We utilized 5 full coats of lacquer, and solid aluminium feet and badging because REL owners understand quality must extend throughout a product, not just in the most obvious locations. And its diminutive scale allows it to all-but-hide among the furnishings in your home.

driver

Outsized Performance

Bass Beyond Its Size

At REL every clean sheet design begins by defining and designing the best bass engine for a given application. While the long throw 6.5” is our smallest-to-date, but make no mistake it is powerful and articulate, able to fill medium-sized rooms effortlessly. Have a much larger space? Distribute them throughout for an unobtrusive spacious presentation of music and film sound.

amplifier

Brains & Brawn

Right Sized Power & Control

Though Tzero is REL’s entry level, that doesn’t mean it can’t punch far above its weight class. 100W high current watts from a NextGen Class D amp means it holds its head high and is capable of delivering many years of satisfying performance. Includes a full REL connectivity suite, fast 8ms delay filter set and our famed High Level Input as well as a .1/LFE input.

Another fine product

I already own three REL subwoofers: two older Studio III and on T/5. The Tzero does not disappoint coupled with a pair of inexpensive but excellent Pioneer SP-BS22 flanking my Sony Trinitron HDTV (the last CRT made by Sony). It complements perfectly the limited bass response of the small 4" mid/woofer adding depth to male voices and a supremely clean lower octaves to the sound-stage. Given the price, a high quality product that does not disappoint the audiophile in me.

Tzero in Stereo

I have the NAD C-368 with BluOS, and B&W 685-S2 bookshelf with two Tzero subs, and when you phase your speakers in with the subs you "REALLY" get that 3 way speaker sound

T/Zero, Small but still a REL

I'm a recording engineer and I don't like subwoofers, never have. Always thought they were slow, sluggish unpleasant additions to any system just to hear a few notes at the low end of music.., until I tried a REL. The first REL was a T3 used for video LFE enhancement. The 2nd was a R-215 used in my studio to extend what I heard, in the low end, as I mixed. The amazing thing is that when I followed the REL recommended set up and dialed the sub in, I never heard the thing, only its absence when shut down. The 3rd one was a T5, I stumbled on used, for a secondary audio/video system. Can you see where I'm going here? Then I kept wanting a little more low end from my desl-top computer set up.., enter the T/Zero. So I went from not liking subs to being practically overrun by them. I must mention that all my Sub-Bass systems are REL, which I enthusiastically recommend to friends and colleagues. The only other sub that I have appreciated almost as much, is an old M&K VX-7 sealed box sub. Bottom line: RELs don't get in the way of the music.
