Bassline Blue

Sound illuminated, The Ultimate Upgrade

3 Meter $449 $399

6 Meter $549 $449

Bassline Blue™ is a sensibly-dimensioned cable, well-constructed so that it will improve the overall sound of every aspect of the host system’s performance. As with any REL product—the improvement extends well beyond the obvious bass region. The greatest area of improvement lies in the manner in which the entire soundstage is illuminated. This is a quality quite different from brightness. Illumination acts to bring light into the stage and renders contrast and clarity as well as dynamic shadings much more evident.

Home Cinema Choice Honors the S/812 With a Best Buy Award

What really impressed me isn’t just the power and depth of the bass, but also its nimbleness. The S/812 can deliver the kind of fast and precise low-end that not only suits music replay, but also picks out key low frequency effects in the best movie soundtracks.

Hi-Fi Choice Highly Recommends the S/510

The S/510 diggs deep and has the power and speed to delight with up tempo tracks and a subtlety that heightens engagement when the music demands. It’s inclusion adds scale and makes listening fun, which is really what it’s all about.

To permit the thin, aluminium driver on the S/812 to survive 800 watts and incredibly long stroke we added an ultra-lightweight backing of pure carbon fibre, strategically placed over portions of the rear surface of the cone.

In the real world, bass occurs with width, depth and height. By stacking up to 3 units per side the proper perspective and height of sonic events are illuminated.

The increase in power is needed to deliver both the profound output levels needed for modern theatre, as well as the deepest bass in a high end 2-channel system.
