Miracle In Miniature

Tzero is, in many ways, the most difficult design we have ever executed because never before have we delivered so much for so little. Five coats of your choice of black or white high gloss lacquer as in all Serie T, NextGen Class D amplifiers, our famous High Level Input, plus a separate .1/LFE input stage with its own volume control to get theatre levels AND music perfect without racing to adjust or looking for a remote control.

The jewel of the MKIII is the new aluminum-coned driver, a rugged 6.5” unit with exceptional output and low bass extension for its size. While it won’t drive medium or large rooms hard, we make plenty of larger models that handle that task, Tzero MKIII remains a miracle in miniature

Outsized Performance

At REL every clean sheet design begins by defining and designing the best bass engine for a given application. While the long throw 6.5” is our smallest-to-date, but make no mistake it is powerful and articulate, able to fill medium-sized rooms effortlessly. Have a much larger space? Distribute them throughout for an unobtrusive spacious presentation of music and film sound.

Amplifier

Brains & Brawn

Though Tzero MKIII is REL’s entry level, that doesn’t mean it can’t punch far above its weight class. 100 high-current watts from a NextGen Class D amp means it holds its head high and is capable of delivering many years of satisfying performance. We feature the same high-quality input filters, crossovers and limiters as our larger models. Tzero MKIII includes a full REL connectivity suite, fast 8ms delay filter set and our famed High Level Input as well as a separate .1/LFE input with its own level control and a standby circuit that reliably comes alive at very low levels.

Awards & Industry Reviews

“I can say without a doubt that these tiny REL’s excelled in becoming one with my monitors in a way I’d never really experienced prior…. Overall I fell in love with these little REL’s. They’re small, WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) friendly, and in the right circumstances would be all you’re looking for in a two channel system.”

Outstanding Product

I have always felt a subwoofer points to a deficiency in the main pair of speakers, this, again, is not the case. I feel as if the subwoofer makes speakers more efficient and in the case of these two REL Tzero MKIIIs they are supporting the soundstage handsomely, without becoming too overbearing.

"I think the Tzero MKIII is a serious over achiever...the fact that it's so freaking tiny and beautifully finished, you could just tuck it away anyway. It has a lot going for it and it comes highly, highly recommended"

"I've enjoyed my time with this subwoofer. It was quite surprising in a lot of ways. I did not expect the things it did and the ways it delivered it. I think at the end of the day, in the right hands, for the right customer, I could see people saying that's the best $500 I ever spent."

"The Tzero III acquitted itself really well. It’s tiny, but that doesn’t stop it adding useful low-end grunt to speakers up to, say, £1,000. It also opens up their soundstage notably, a benefit that shouldn’t be underestimated. "

Reviews

Excellent

"We love the Tzero, Compact with impact. We are not worried about cinema effects but we do want to try and mirror the sense of being in the concert hall. The Tzero really helps with that. Indeed we bought a second one! Equally we think that the customer support at REL is second to none. We were trying to decide between this and a T/5x and Ben in Bridgend spent so much time talking it through with us. Cannot thank him and his team enough."

Multiple T-Zeros. Do not let size fool you.

"Long story, but I saw a few car audio videos where they used multiple little woofers in a series and the sound was so smooth and tight. So, why can't I do this in my home audio setup? Well, I started with a pair of the T-Zeros, then I picked up another pair for my two channel rig. I added the miniDSP to handle the crossover and REW to tune everything in. The sound is amazing! Much better than anything my pair of SVS SB3000 subs could produce. Very happy!"

Mike W. (5/5)

Great tiny sub for my KEF LSX II LT speakers

"Working pretty good with a pair of KEF LSX II LT in a small office room. So far I'm liking it. Still tweaking with some settings, but overall I'm loving it. It improves the overall sound coming out of the small KEF speakers. I'm not a base head, all I wanted was for the sound to be more rich and complete. Main reason I went with REL was for the incredible compact size - that was the decisive factor for my purchase and why I was willing to pay the otherwise higher price."

Alexandru R. (5/5)

TZero MKIII

"An excellent and necessary addition to my sound system. Currently run to B&W’s 805D3’s with McIntosh 275 and McIntosh c2500 tube amplifier and preamplifier. Couldn’t believe the sound!"

Arissa M. (5/5)

High quality sound

"Excellent Sub, I had a follow up phone call from REL once my Sub arrived. 10/10 for product and support"

Paul A. (5/5)

Great Subwoofer for smaller spaces

"Great subwoofer if you’re looking for something that’s going to fill the missing piece in your setup. I got this to pair with a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Evo and Kanto Yu4 bookshelf speakers in my bedroom. It provides that perfect extra kick without being overpowering in the slightest. If you’re in a smaller room and need something to fill that gap in bass you’re missing this it it."

Caelan S. (5/5)

An amazing subwoofer

"Yeah, it's small. Yeah, it looks like a toy. It's not! I have a Bluesound POWER NODE, with a pair of B&W LM1s connected. While the LM1s sound very good, they have no useful output below 70Hz. The TZero fills that void perfectly in my small-ish living room. The LM1s open up nicely, and now there is palpable bass energy throughout the space. Simply an amazing subwoofer."

Orlando C. (5/5)

So far so good

"Enjoying this product so far. Has transformed my bookshelf speakers for music - after tuning the settings I found an optimal setting that gives more weight and warmth to the sound without the bass dominating (as it should be). Small size very convenient for small rooms like mine."

Michael L. (5/5)

T Zero Mk III Subwoofer

"I bought this subwoofer to fill out the bottom end of my powered, Little British Monitors Mk II speakers, and have not been disappointed. The monitors are transmission line speakers, and so reproduce bass disproportionately well for their size, but the 75 mm mid/woofer driver could never hope to cover the lowest lows. The T Zero Mk III blends in seamlessly with the LBMs using their dedicated RCA sub out. I could not be happier. Together they make for a great speaker system."

Michael S. (5/5)

What A Difference A Pair Makes!

"Here in my 9' X15' office I listened with quality stand mounts and a single Tzero MKIII. I thought, why not a second Tzero MKIII? Wow! what a difference a pair makes. My small office, mostly lower volume listening, blossomed with a second REL sub. Tzero is all I needed, but a pair made it magic."
